FLIPSIDE ROCK 'N' ROLL, SCARBOROUGH

Welcome to the Flipside Rock 'n' Roll web site where you will find information on forthcoming rock 'n 'roll events in the Scarborough area organized by us at Flipside, we will also publish our success stories on previously held dances featuring live groups or record hops.

Flipside Rock 'n' Roll has been in existence for a number of years and was originally based in Newcastle.  When Rick took over the name he took it to the Scunthorpe area first before eventually settling in Scarborough where we met up and together we now run the club.

We are a comparatively new rock 'n' roll club in Scarborough and it is our aim is to promote authentic 50's and 60's rock 'n' roll music with our weekly record hops at the Anchorage Club, and with our annual dances booking some of the best live groups around.  We also aim to raise money for local charities our most recent is the Scarborough branch of the R.N.L.I. to whom we have donated a total of £1317.16 to date.

We welcome feedback on any event of ours you have attended and hope to include photos of you all rock 'n' rolling, jiving and strolling and generally enjoying yourselves. Its early days yet but we will regularly update the site to include any new gigs/events.
